Nosherie refers to a restaurant or other place where food is served.

Was wondering what this word meant when I walked past MUNCH Saladsmith and Nosherie at Marina Bay Link Mall just now.. MUNCH has a shop at Robinson Rd and they serve pretty decent sandwiches. Seems like their business is doing pretty well and there's now a branch at the new mall... But "Nosherie" is a slightly pretentious word leh. Where did it come from... somehow cannot associate something as weird-sounding as 'nosh' with food.

don't ppl sometimes say nosh in ref to food there? like, you can nosh on it now or later? didn't realize it was part of formal word.. considered it slang... munch i am constantly reminded of b/c of munchie, cat sister named..
