the above is a total rip-off from a Carlton card i saw at Target. but I was too cheap to actually buy it... sorry i'm 'cheating' but i absolutely have no time to do anything for anyone really so drew it to wish everyone who visits this blog a Happy Valentine's! (hehe not wasting it too and giving original to Courtney for being really sweet to me when i visited) i thought it was kinda cute. i'm stuck on every one of you in a friendly kinda way you know =) thanks for bothering to find out what's going on with me... i might not be in frequent contact with each and every one of you but all of you occupy some spot in my heart! =)
prob wun hear from me for rest of week though cos i am unfortunately in quite a dire state for research... so ya.

That card is really cute :) Your artistic talent at work again! Yes, happy Valentine's Day - it's nice to think of it in terms of friendship, and to just recognise the meaning of the day (whatever meaning there is left) without spending tonnes of money to do it. Yesterday in Waterloo Station in London, a SINGLE RED ROSE was selling for FIVE BRITISH POUNDS.

thank you... it's just a frivolous drawing lah. sadly i dun really hav time for anything very arty right now.
hmmm 5 pounds is what, 14/15 Sing? I can buy a dozen roses (or more) during non-peak season in Singapore... is Valentine's Day especially big in London?

It's crazy all right. I think Valentine's Day is big in all the Western countries, but there are lots of sensible people who purposely spend Valentine's Day at home, alone, with their significant other, and enjoy it a lot more :)
