Just now I repaid a tiny part of my lifelong debt to my parents by helping them put on fresh bedsheets. Mum was visibly tired and so was Dad. I felt a childish sense of pride after that... for my tiny attempt to reciprocate their daily acts of love and selflessness. Pple always say giving is altruistic, but I think it's not entirely so; cos givers like me derive self-satisfaction in the process... :P
