living alone for one week has made me somewhat content and used to living alone that i felt a little strange when shiyun returned from her road trip. not that i dun like ppl in the house, just that i have become somewhat accustomed to the idea of being alone in the house and doing whatever i want to do at my whim and fancy and not having to care about 'externalities' haha. well, but it's good to have more 'life' in the house i guess. cooked jap chicken curry with rice noodles for sumei and i for lunch just now! quite happy that it turned out pretty fine... shall cook curry next time! yay. shiyun cooked her noodle soup which was so healthy with nutritious mushrooms and carrots and lettuce and tofu that i felt somehwat guilty with my high-calorie, relatively non-veggy lunch. nmind, shall strive to be healthier next time round...
the internet startup kit and modem arrived at my door today! but cable will only be activated on thursday though. though it seems somewhat daunting to set up the computers and router and stuff, i feel somewhat proud that i will be responsible for setting up my stuff and the independent lifestyle i'm leading rite now... the pace of life is just so comfortable that i am beginning to really love my lifestyle rite now and hope that sch doenst start. haha... but i still have many things to do.... haven't thought of a proper design for the SMSA t-shirt.. oops. and watching finding nemo later at emeryville.... i'd better stay in tmr or on thurs to design something decent... seriously hope i can think of something nice though...
wanted to pick up SEVIS yesterday when i took 52L down to berkeley.. but terrible me ended up in this fabric store at shattuck browsing till 3.45 and i figured i couldn't possibly walk all the way up to I-House in 15 min so in the end i went to telegraph ave to look at posters instead... bought a little one by marc chagall... and i saw his 'Autumn In THe Village' which was totally awesome.. but it cost 25 bucks... so i really xin tong bu she de mai... maybe next time, next time when i feel richer i'll go get it, else i'll really burn a huge hole in my pocket if i buy all the posters i want at one go.... if only i owned the shop haha. nice little prince ones cost 18 bucks =( so ex...
