day 2 and the last day of my hermit existence... finished A Clockwork Orange this afternoon! it's kinda dark and violent, but a very good read nonetheless...because of its themes.. and as i progressed i also gradually began to understand the narrator's invented slang in the book and started enjoying it more and more. i mean it's somehwat creative, to call eyes glazzies isn't it? apparently Kubrick made it into a film but i can just imagine all the graphic violence and all. so it's a no-no... and then i headed to H&M for a shopping spree... wanted to get groceries from Chinatown, but ended up going into Urban Outfitters and chanced upon this pair of pants with a belt i really liked and then thus splurged... still ex despite being on sale =( it was the only pair left and it's like fitting so i have to work veyr hard not to get any fatter for the rest of the sem at least... hunted down the second Teaism in Penn Quarter and discovered that they sell more stuff than the one at Dupont Circle! but too inaccessible... i also prefer the ambience at the Dupont Teaism... their salty oat cookies are really yummy! they def taste better than they sound =P
