today.... i finished half the apple cake i baked yesterday. walked to adams morgan to see what's there... bought three books for the price of two at Borders... started reading A Clockwork Orange by Antony Burgess...found reasonably priced decent sushi at Whole Foods and rented Farewell to my Concubine (Ba Wang Bie Ji) starring Leslie Cheung and Gong Li from blockbuster...excited! shall watch it later =P yes, i feel "phonily-cultured" today... i haven't purchased any book to read for leisure for a long time.. yay. i can go try all the sushi at Whole Foods for the rest of the sem. i wonder why i have turned into such a sushi fan this sem? it's actually good that i kinda hav a day or two to myself.. i feel so sad that i haven't been keeping up with my reading. i remb in RGS/JC i really read a lot a lot of novels.. or least i really tried to. guess it was good that i alwyas had like one-hour return trips all the way back to the East... hopefully i'll get into the habit of reading again this spring break.. or least a day or two before jing comes ;)
